Unleaded Software extends web hosting in forming Beanstalk Solar Hosting

DENVER, Colo. – May 1, 2009 – Unleaded Software, Denver’s premier boutique website design and development firm, today announced that its five-year web hosting service has been formed as a stand-alone entity now known as Beanstalk Solar Hosting.

As the new name proclaims, Beanstalk Solar Hosting is to be powered by the Colorado sun with the installation of a 3.7 kilowatt solar electric photovoltaic (PV) system installed by Adobe Solar of Denver, one of the most innovative manufacturers of solar panels for electric generation in the country.  This grid-tied solar PV system, set to go live on June 1, is being mounted on the roof just above the Beanstalk Solar Hosting servers and is made up of (20) 185 Watt Mitsubishi Solar Panels and (1) Frontius Solar Inverter. Taking advantage of Colorado’s 300+ days of sunshine, this solar PV system is expected to produce an average of 410 Kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per month.

Beanstalk Solar Hosting was created to take the web hosting environment built by Unleaded Software over the last five years to new heights. Unleaded began building the hosting capability to serve its many website design and development clients, and has continually updated the server infrastructure to keep its state-of-the-art in every way. To date, Unleaded has offered two levels of hosting service: Deluxe, for basic websites with normal traffic patterns, available for $25 per month; and, Premium, for $35 a month, design to accommodate online e-commerce merchants requiring a secure certificate to facilitate credit-card processing.

With the formation of Beanstalk Solar Hosting, the service will be expanded to include an SSD hosting service, for $100 a month, based on high-speed, solid state Intel drivers and capable of handling the most sophisticated technology for high-traffic web sites and the most robust e-commerce online shopping sites.
